Common Questions

  • Why do we heat the studio to 90 degrees?

The heat helps to increase flexibility, blood flow, sweat, and focus. When we create more focus on our mat we can take it off our mat into the real world. We tell students that it can take 3 to 4 visits to get used to the heat and take a break when you need it during class!

  • I have never done yoga before, can I join any class?

We have a basics class on Tuesdays at 7:45pm and Sundays at 11am. If that doesn’t fit your schedule, it’s okay! Our classes are all levels and you can go at your own pace in class. Our teachers walk around to give corrections and assist you in your practice.

  • I am not flexible, how is that yoga move even possible?

You don’t have to have a certain body type to practice this style of yoga. We give our students modifications so we can meet them where they are on the mat. It’s just like learning to walk – it takes time!
