Tip Tuesday: Keep Your Heels Lifted


We have been asked before, how do I get my heels to touch the ground in downward facing dog? And at Bright Heart, we encourage you to keep your heels lifted. This allows for you to maintain a neutral spine and have less pressure on your low back. It also puts some slack on the sciatic nerve. And if you have ever had sciatica, you will want to keep that nerve from getting bugged.
