What type of yoga is taught at Bright Heart Yoga Studio?

Our instructors teach power vinyasa yoga. This style of yoga allows you to  link your breath and movement together.

Can I do power vinyasa yoga?

Yes! Power vinyasa yoga is about challenging yourself. Our teachers give variations of poses in class so that no matter where are you in your yoga practice, you will be able to join in on the fun.

What if I am not flexible?

You don’t have to be flexible to get the benefits of power yoga. Every BODY is different. You are where you are today – and that is perfect.

I am completely new to yoga. What classes are best for me?

Power yoga classes at Bright Heart are for all levels because we believe yoga is for every BODY. Our teachers are a tuned to our students’ needs and are able to suggest variations suited for you. How hot is the studio?

The studio is heated to a toasty 85 degrees. The heat allows you to sweat and gain flexibility in your muscles.

What should I wear to class?

We encourage you to wear whatever empowers you to move, sweat, and feel comfortable.

How much do classes cost?

What if I get tired or dizzy?

Sometimes we get a little carried away in our practice.  If you ever feel like you need to rest during class, you should move into child’s pose (generally the first pose each class). This pose helps to reconnect to your breath and bring you back to stability.
